Wasted Pain is a unique love story between a middle-aged man seeking love and a mysterious girl he finds half frozen to death one night after being stood up for a blind date. The relationship between the two grows slowly as they get to know each other. She needs to know he won’t hurt her and he longs to know the secrets behind this mysterious women without a name. The story is told from his perspective and the author really takes his time to let you get to know both characters. I really appreciated the depth he formed in them individually so that their relationship felt more natural and interesting. The story is sweet, sad, and engaging. I would definitely recommend reading this book. $1.99 on Kindle.
