A sham television reality show, showering selected homeless people with money and promises of fame, appears to be behind the disappearances. At the same time, the cult is determined to eliminate the Baby Boomer, white-male-privilege sector.

A handsome stranger materializes out of thin air to rescue Celeste when her investigations get her into trouble. When she feels the unexpected magic of his attraction, she wonders what will happen when she locates Hobart…if she still wants to find him.
