No Credit Series

The genesis of No Credit came after a seemingly endless discussion with friends and colleagues who loved the fictional world that allowed men, women, boys, and girls to become something they were not, but wrapped in capes, given unimaginable powers, and seen as exceptional. The discussion centered around the idea of individuals called supes and superheroes. The discussion, long ago, in a comic bookstore with comic book lovers, employees and the occasional passersby, revolved around the biggest and most recognizable names and brands, but I recalled the bigger question being: Where are the Black characters in the comics?
