Dissident is the first part of a six part saga. Though it’s a genre-bender, it is ultimately the beginning of an epic romance. It is told in a non-linear fashion, and the reader is introduced to our hero and heroine through flashbacks. Our heroine Caroline, a Democratic member of Congress, has to do some quick apologizing after saying some pretty nasty things about our hero Jack (a Republican) during the past election cycle. From that a friendship…and more…is born.
